Item description

Swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe… sigh.

Realistically, if we’re being honest, the chances of actually meeting somebody meaningful through online dating is pretty low. It’s an oversaturated space where algorithms, limitations, and paywalls funnel you through the same paths, to the same destinations, to the same outcomes.

Everything has become a rush, a speed-run version of dating. Being spoon-fed information instantaneously.. the quick swipe, the immediate scroll past a title that doesn’t catch your eye, a bio viewed for a few seconds before deciding that preferring lasagna over a chicken caesar salad somehow means you’re not compatible.
Every single piece of information upfront.. likes, dislikes, hobbies, passions. Convenient? Oh of course. Still, somewhere along the way, it feels like we lost the art of just… talking.

I don’t want or need an algorithm to dictate who I should or shouldn’t get to know. I don’t want a percentage telling me how compatible we may or may not be. I’d honestly rather make those decisions for myself.
I want to get to know someone properly, piece by piece. Build something real without a statistical breakdown in front of me. Because two people liking different things isn’t a foregone conclusion that they’re not compatible… it just means they’re different. And that’s part of life.

How many potential soulmates get missed because of “logical probabilities”?

Instead of reading the blurb, why not just take the time to read the book together and enjoy the story.

Anyway, all things have to start somewhere, and this is the starting point.

I’m 37, 178cm, green eyes, caucasian, built for comfort... not speed, and so on and so forth. Is there more to me than that? 100%, but how about we just... talk about it?
