The Papered Parlour is seeking a friendly, humorous artist/designer to share their studio in Clapham.

Home to 12 other artists, makers and creative practitioners, our studio was established as a space where artists from diverse disciplines can come together to share skills.

Founded in 2009, The Papered Parlour Studios comprise a large, open plan artist studio in Clapham, South London. Currently home to 12 local designers, makers and creative practitioners, the studio was established as a space where artists from diverse disciplines could come together to share skills and experiences.

Providing peer to peer support for artists, the studios offer an affordable environment in which to pursue creative practice.


Our Facilities:

• 1100 sq ft open plan studio 

• 18 individual workstations plus communal workbench
• Kitchen facilities, central heating and running water
• Wifi, mailbox and cleaning 

• Fully alarmed 24 hour access 

• Use of fully equipped separate workshop area Mon-Fri
• Insurance of communal areas

Facts & Figures:

• Individual workstations measure 160cm wide x 80cm deep x 100cm high
• Separate workshop area additional 900 sq ft available Mon – Fri
• Rent: £57 per week inclusive of all rates & VAT. No hidden extras
• 6 weeks deposit + key & alarm fob deposit due prior to commencement of contract
• Rent due each month in advance by Standing Order
• 12 month contract
• 6 weeks notice period
